MIRALON® Pulp material can be dispersed into many common solutions and systems to provide a variety of characteristics including electrical conductivity and ESD (electrostatic dissipative) properties, as well as mechanical properties.

MIRALON® Sheet and Tape Products are carbon-based non-woven materials that can be used in a variety of applications to lightweight and enhance product or system performance. Using a proprietary seaming process, MIRALON® Sheets and Tapes can be delivered in any length to meet customer requirements. These products can also be post-processed for specific applications. MIRALON® Sheets can be pre-pregged with a variety of resin systems or infiltrated with various polymer systems, all with industry-standard equipment.

MIRALON® Yarn Products are carbon-based fibers that can be used in a variety of applications to lightweight and provide enhanced mechanical and electrical performance. These yarns are composed of millions of aligned filaments of structured carbon. Unlike conventional carbon fibers, the internal carbon structures transfer load by van der Waals forces, not covalent bonds. This results in yarns that are laterally flexible, fatigue-resistant, and impact-resistant, yet are stiff, strong, and both thermally and electrically conductive in the axial direction.
