Technical Details & Test Data
- Curing
- The cure schedule depends upon the reaction of formulation ingredients (resins, hardener, pigmentation, solvents) and the conditions of application (temperature, humidity, film thickness, etc...). Cure time varies inversely with temperature.
- For laboratory testing purposes, a seven days cure at 25°C (77°F) and 50% relative humidity is recommended.
- Pigmentation
- The resin and solutions are easily pigmented using standard techniques.
- Processing Characteristics
- ARADUR® 115-2 X 70 US Hardener may be used to cure liquid epoxy resin solutions at ambient or slightly elevated temperatures.
- The ratio of epoxy resin to polyamide resin will determine the ultimate coating properties.
- The normal range of polyamide to epoxy resin is between 25 to 100 phr (parts per hundred of resin). In such cases a higher proportion of ARADUR® 115-2 X 70 US Hardener provides increased flexibility and adhesion, while improved chemical resistance is achieved with a reduced proportion of ARADUR® 115-2 X 70 US Hardener.

Storage & Handling
- Storage and Shelf Life Information
- ARADUR® 115-2 X 70 US Hardener should be stored in a dry place, in the sealed original containers, at temperatures between 2°C and 40°C (36°F and 104°F).
- Under these storage conditions, the products have a shelf life of 3 years (from date of manufacture).
- The products should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
