Product Features

All components of Aradur 33225 are listed in the German KTW list part 1 of substances definitely approved for contact with potable water. Compliance with limitations on extractable monomers in food and potable water contact applications has to be proved by analytical measurement of the final coating formulation. In combination with suitable resins Aradur 33225 shows the following properties:

  • Very long pot life
  • Flexible coatings
  • Good mechanical properties when force cured (2 h at 60 – 80 °C)
  • Formulated according regulations for food and potable water contact
  • Polyamidoimidazoline. Good latency at room temperature.

Aradur 33225 has to be combined with fast curing hardeners or to be force cured to achieve epoxy typical film properties.

Technical Details & Test Data

Mix Ratio

The mix ratio of Araldite GZ 7071X75 to Aradur 33225 should be selected as 100:15 parts by weight. Deviations from this of up to 20 % are acceptable. In such cases a higher proportion of Aradur provides increased flexibility and adhesion, while improved chemical resistance is achieved with a reduced proportion of Aradur.
