ARADUR® 43-1

Key Properties

Used along with suitable epoxy resins, ARADUR® 43-1 presents the following features:

  • A relatively low level of viscosity making it easy to work
  • Good curing properties with relatively long working time; under cool/damp application conditions, the (proportional) use of the reactive hardener ARADUR® 43-1 S is appropriate
  • Good mechanical properties
  • Good all-round chemical resistance
  • Smooth, glossy, non-tacky cured films (above 12 °C)
  • Good anti-corrosion protection
  • Light-coloured films with good colour stability.
  • ARADUR® 43-1 is the nonylphenolfree version of Aradur 43

Applications & Uses

Application Information

In combination with liquid epoxy resins, preferably such as Araldite® GY 783 and GY 793, ARADUR® 43-1 is suitable for the production of solvent-free floorings, epoxy resin mortars and anti-corrosion coatings.

The optimum mix ratio for Araldite GY 783 and ARADUR® 43-1 is 100 : 60 parts by weight.

Storage & Handling

Storage Information

ARADUR® 43-1 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container, at temperatures between 2 and 40 °C. The product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
