Used along with suitable epoxy resins, ARADUR® 53-1 S presents the following features:
- A low level of viscosity making it easy to work
- A high level of reactivity with an adequate pot life
- Outstanding curing properties: even at low temperatures in the region of 5°C, more than 60 % of final stability is achieved within 24 hours
- Sound, even surfaces with low susceptibility to water marking
- Light-coloured films with minimum yellowing under the effects of UV rays
- Good all-round chemical resistance
ARADUR® 53-1 S might be used as diluent and accelerator for ARADUR® 20317

- In combination with liquid epoxy resins such as Araldite® GY 250, GY 783 and GY 793, ARADUR® 53-1 S is suitable for the production of rapid-curing epoxy resin mortars and solvent- free coatings with extremely good surface properties.
- With its low tendency to yellowing and its high resistance to mechanical stresses, ARADUR® 53-1 S is the preferred component for the formulation of decorative floor toppings.

ARADUR® 53-1 S should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container, at temperatures between 2 and 40 °C. The product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
