Key Features
  • No Bisphenol A, Phenol, Nonylphenol or Alkylphenols (SVHC-free)
  • No Benzyl Alcohol (Low Emission Hardener)
  • Good surface properties even at low Temperature (blushing)
  • Low mix ratio (HAEW = 66 - 75)
  • Relatively low viscosity (4600 – 6600 mPa.s)
  • Flooring (low temperature)
  • Coating
  • 0 VOC Antico Primers (5-10°C Cure)
  • Co-accelerator
Key Properties

ARADUR® 837-1 is highly reactive and therefore suitable for systems to be applied by two-component spraying equipment. Coatings/floorings exhibit:

  • Short pot life and rapid cure
  • Excellent resistance to inorganic acids and organic solvents such as hydrocarbons and alcohol
  • Good mechanical properties
  • Good adhesion to concrete and sandblasted steel
  • Relatively good colour stability
  • Tendency towards tacky surfaces when cured at low temperatures and high relative humidity.

Applications & Uses

Coating End Applications
Application Information

In combination with liquid epoxy resins (e.g. Araldite® GY 250, GY 253, GY 257, GY 260, GY 266 and PY 302-2) ARADUR® 837-1 can be used to formulate solvent-free heavy-duty anti- corrosion coatings or flooring compounds. Because of its high reactivity ARADUR® 837-1 may be used to accelerate polyamidoamine or cycloaliphatic polyamine hardeners.
