Storage & Handling

Storage Information

ARADUR® HY 5351 US should be stored in a dry place in its original sealed containers at temperatures between 64 °F and 77 °F (18 °C and 25 °C ). Under these storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of 24 months (from date of manufacture). The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Prior to use, the containers should be allowed to stabilize at room temperature for several hours before the packages are opened. Remove any condensation on containers with a dry cloth or paper towel before opening. ARADUR® HY 5351 hardener is moisture sensitive and will readily react with moisture if left exposed to ambient atmosphere. Opened containers should be purged with dry nitrogen and tightly re-sealed after each use to minimize moisture absorption alternatively the drum can be equipped with a vent drier system. Note: ARADUR® HY 5351 US Hardener may crystallize if kept at too low a temperature for an extended period of time during transportation or storage. If crystallization has occurred, gently heat up the material at 100 °F to 130 °F (38 °C to 55 °C) for 2 to 8 hours.
