Storage & Handling

Storage Condition
  • ARALDITE® PZ 33757/67 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container, at temperatures between 2 and 40°C (temperatures will never be allowed to drop under 0°C). The product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
  • With epoxy resin ARALDITE® PZ 33757/67 there is a tendency for the emulsion to settle slightly (reverse cream effect), i.e. for the resin concentration in the drum/container to vary, according to the storage time and conditions. Thorough mixing is therefore recommended before drum's/container’s content is removed.
  • If in any case the material has been exposed to temperatures below 0 °C extensive settling will occur, probably with some phase separation. In such cases the content can only be rehomogenized briefly by using high shear agitation tools like dissolvers; simple stirring will not fit. However batches thus treated do not have any long-term stability and must be processed without delay.
