Storage & Handling

Storage and Handling Information

Araldite® PZ 756-1/67 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container, at temperatures between 2 and 40 °C (temperatures will never be allowed to drop under 0 °C). The product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight. With Araldite PZ 756/67 there is a tendency for the emulsion to settle slightly (reverse cream effect), i.e. for the resin concentration in the drum to vary, according to the storage time and conditions. Thorough mixing is therefore recommended before drum's content is removed. If in any case the material has been exposed to temperatures below 0 °C extensive settling will occur, probably with some phase separation. In such cases the content can only be rehomogenized briefly by using high shear agitation tools like dissolvers; simple stirring will not fit. However batches thus treated do not have any long-term stability and must be processed without delay.
