IROSTIC® S 6514 is designed to be used as additive in combination with other IROSTIC grades to reduce the activation temperature and to prolong the open time. This IROSTIC grade can be used as a 2-component system in combination with our IRODUR product range.
- Clean and dry parts to be bonded.
- If possible, roughen the two surfaces using abrasive material.
- Apply a thin layer of adhesive solution.
- Dry surfaces for approx. 30 min to allow solvent evaporation.
- Activate both surfaces by warming up to 50 - 55°C.
- Press surfaces together for 30 seconds.
- The bonding is stable after approx. 1 minute.
- Full bonding strength will be reached after 24 hours.
- Please note that the procedure described here is for the adhesive solution prepared with the IROSTIC.

IROSTIC® S 6514 is supplied in boxes. IROSTIC® S 6514 has a minimum storage time of six months from the date of shipment, provided that the material is stored in a cool (10°C-25°C) and dry location, in its original closed packaging and protected from direct exposure to sunlight.
