Application Information

JEFFOL R-470X Polyol is used for a wide variety of applications including spray, molding and urethane elastomers. Spray urethane foams using JEFFOL R-470X Polyol provide extremely good processability, low K-factor, good dimensional stability, and fine cells. JEFFOL R-470X Polyol contains an amine group which makes this compound extremely reactive toward isocyanates and, consequently, must not be used to make a quasi-prepolymer or prepolymer. If used to prepare a prepolymer, the reaction is violent and uncontrollable.
