The Matting Agent DT 3360 N allows formulating hybrid powder surface technologies with a gloss as low as ca. 15 units (60°) while maintaining color stability, mechanical perfor- mance and excellent flow and leveling. The Matting Agent DT 3360 N is a true matting additive, no adjustment of the epoxy / pol-yester ratio is required. However, the Matting Agent DT 3360 N influences the reactivity of the powder coating system. The degree of flattening achieved by the Matting Agent DT 3360 N and the effectiveness (quantity required) depends highly on the selected polyester resin.
