Storage and Handling Information

Storage

RenGel® SW 5200, Ren® HY 5211 and Ren® HY 5212 have a shelf life as indicated on the label if stored in properly closed original containers at the storage temperature indicated on the MSDS in a dry place. Containers should be closed immediately after use.

Handling

Disposal of our products is generally fairly harmless as long as common precautions for handling chemicals are taken. For example, uncured material should not come into contact with food or eating utensils, and precautions should be taken to prevent uncured material from coming into contact with skin, as sensitive skin may be affected. Impervious rubber or plastic gloves must usually be worn; eye protection is also required. Skin should be cleaned thoroughly with soap and warm water after each work session. Avoid the use of solvents. Skin should be dried with disposable paper towels – not towels. Adequate ventilation of the work area is recommended. These precautions are described in more detail in the Material Safety Data Sheets for each product, which should be consulted for more complete information.
