Application Information

Tecnothane® MDE705Z has been developed for performing in demanding and harsh environment which required a non-conventional solvent resistance to swelling, like lacquering rollers or screen-printing application. The system is designed to provide high level mechanical properties combined with excellent grind-ability, and elastic properties allowing size retention after many working cycles.

Post Curing Information

Do not allow excessive cooling of molded parts between demolding and post-curing.

Hardness (ShA) Temperature (°C) Time (hours)
From 25 to 55 70 16

For hardness above 93 ShA the best performance is obtained through 2 annealing steps. In this sense it is recommended to let the material cool down to room temperature in between the 2 post curing processes.

Packaging Information
Materials are available in following packaging: 25, 50 or 200 kg

Storage & Handling

Handling Information
  • In order to allow complete melting, pre-heat materials at following conditions (melting times are referred to 200 kg drums, stored at 20°C)
Pre-heating temperature (°C) 75
Pre-heating time (hours) 24
  • After pre-heating, make sure all materials are completely melted.
  • Well mix melted material by drilling or rolling the drum
  • Load materials to the machine immediately after mixing.
  • Materials must be stored under nitrogen blanket after use.
