Material Preparation
  • AVALON® 65 ABU JS is supplied pre-dried, however to ensure trouble-free processing it is preferable to dry before use.
  • The recommended drying conditions are:
  • 3 hours at 80-90°C in circulating air
  • 3 hours at 70-80°C in dehumidified air
  • Dew point : -30°C

Safety Information

First Aid :

  • Contamination of the eyes by resin, hardener or mix should be treated immediately by flushing with clean, running water for 10 to 15 minutes. A doctor should then be consulted.
  • Material smeared or splashed on the skin should be dabbed off, and the contaminated area then washed and treated with a cleansing cream (see above). A doctor should be consulted in the event of severe irritation or burns.
  • Contaminated clothing should be changed immediately. Anyone taken ill after inhaling vapours should be moved out of doors immediately. In all cases of doubt call for medical assistance.

Supply and Storage Information
  • AVALON® 65 ABU JS is supplied in bags, drums or octabins.
  • AVALON® 65 ABU JS has a minimum expected shelf life of 12 months after shipment date.
  • The product should be stored in a dry and cool place in the manufacturer ́s original packaging.
Storage and Handling Information

Storage :

  • Provided the product is stored dry in its original, closed container at the mentioned temperature, it will have the shelf life indicated on the label.
  • Partly emptied containers should be closed immediately after use.

Handling :

Forced ventilation and dust masks or respirators should be used to ensure that operatives do not breath in dust generated by the system.

Skin protection :

  • before starting work  : Apply barrier cream to exposed skin

  • Dab off with absorbent paper, wash with warm water and alkali-free soap, then dry with disposable towels. Do not use solvents

Disposal of spillage :

  • Soak up with sawdust or cotton waste and deposit in plastic-lined bin

Ventilation :

  • of workshop :  Renew air 3 to 5 times an hour
  • of workplaces : Exhaust fans. Operatives should avoid inhaling vapours
