ARADUR® 3986 epoxy curing agent is an amine hardener specially formulated for water-dilutable epoxy resin systems. This product is free of volatile amines and solvents. It was developed for the formulation of anticorrosive primers that is using waterborne epoxy resins such as ARALDITE® PZ 3961-1 epoxy resin and other water-based coatings. ARADUR® 3986 epoxy curing agent provides a visible end of the usable life (indicated by viscosity increase) and the desired combination of fast set-to-touch times and long pot life with both modified and unmodified liquid epoxy resins, such as ARALDITE® GY 6010 or ARALDITE® GY 9615.

  • Product Functions:Surfactant, Surfactant (Anionic)
  • Chemical Family:Nitrile Rubbers
  • Product End Uses:Gaskets, Heat Seal Adhesives, Laminating Adhesive, Paper Coatings
  • Material Compatibility:Elastomer & Rubber Substrate, Papers, Textile Surface
  • Product Features:Abrasion Resistance, Chemical Resistance, Chemical Stability, Excellent Wetting Behaviour, Fast Drying, Good Chemical Stability, Good Flexibility, Good Grease Resistance, Good Toughness, Good Wetting Properties, Grease Resistance, High Bond Strength, High Flexibility, High Impact Resistance, High Mechanical Stability, Highly Versatile, Improved Tear Resistance, Oil Resistance, Tear Resistance

NYCHEM® 1562 X 159 is a medium-nitrile, acrylonitrile-butadiene latex that uses a synthetic anionic surfactant for enhanced chemical and mechanical stability. This latex offers excellent formulating capabilities, machine runnability, and wetting properties with reduced pH sensitivity, making it ideal for coating and binder applications. Its smaller particle size improves web penetration and enables faster drying, which is beneficial for adhesive applications. It provides strong bonding to rubber and textile substrates in wet laminating and heat seal adhesive applications, and can be used with RFL dip adhesives. Featuring good chemical, grease, oil, tear, and abrasion resistance, along with flexibility and impact resistance, it is also suitable for binder and coating applications. Toughness and resistance can be further improved through vulcanization with a sulfur donor.

HuntsmanNYCHEM® 1570 X 75
  • Product Features:Enhanced Tear Resistance, Excellent Mechanical Strength, Good Chemical Stability, Good Elongation, Good Flexibility, Good Toughness, Good Wetting Properties, High Bond Strength, High Flexibility, High Impact Resistance, High Mechanical Stability, Impact Resistance, Improved Chemical Resistance, Improved Tear Resistance, Improves Adhesion, Low Glass Transition Temperature, Soft Touch, Solvent Resistance

NYCHEM® 1570X75 carboxylated, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene Latex utilizes a synthetic anionic surfactant enabling good chemical and mechanical stability. This provides the best formulating capabilities, machine runnability, and good wetting properties with reduced pH sensitivity for binder and coating applications. A feature of this latex is smaller particle size for improved web penetration and faster drying great for adhesive applications. As a paper saturant, it can be used in abrasion, automotive masking tape, friction, and printing blanket backer paper products. Also, it sports a soft-touch feel and low Tg. The styrenated nitrile provides a good balance of polar and nonpolar solvent resistance. Also, it has good flexibility and impact resistance with improved adhesion to metal substrates. The carboxylated functionality allows the polymer to be crosslinked internally or with the substrate using metal complexes, amino and phenol formaldehyde resins, and epoxies further improving performance. Additional toughness, abrasion, and chemical resistance can be further enhanced though vulcanization using a sulfur donor.
