ARADUR® 356 hardener is a light-colored, medium-viscosity, phenol-free hardener for solvent-free coatings. Fast cure, excellent adhesion, light color, and excellent chemical resistance characterize coatings based on ARADUR® 356. Particularly suitable for application with two-component spray equipment, formulations based on ARADUR® 356 demonstrate excellent curing properties. ARADUR® 3805 epoxy curing agent is a waterborne amine curing agent designed for use in formulating two-component ambient as well as heat-cured coatings. It is compatible with both modified and unmodified liquid epoxy resins, such as ARALDITE® GY 9513 and ARALDITE® GY 6010. ARALDITE® GT 7071 is a low molecular weight, unmodified solid epoxy resin designed for use in high-performance protective and decorative coatings. It can be cured with polyamines, amine adducts, polyamide hardeners, or acrylic resins. The resin is characterized by excellent batch-to-batch uniformity, good clarity and color, a narrow molecular weight distribution, and favorable solubility characteristics. For the convenience of formulators, ARALDITE® GT 7071 is also available in various solvent types and solvent combinations (see Data Sheet for Araldite® GZ 471 and Araldite® GZ 571 epoxy resin solutions).

ARALDITE® PZ 3961-1 is a solid “1-type” epoxy resin emulsion designed for ambient or force curing coatings on metal and concrete. ARA® Cool 3077-1 is an amine-based fast curing hardener without Nonylphenol, Benzyl alcohol, or Bisphenol-A. It is best used as an accelerator and modifier for slower reacting hardeners, such as polyamidoamines and polyamides, for curing at low temperatures.

EPALLOY® 5000 resin is the diepoxide of the hydrogenated bisphenol A. Due to its saturated ring structure, this resin will find utility in applications requiring resistance to ultraviolet light exposure. Formulations based on standard DGEBA resins usually do not perform well in this environment. Curing agent selection should be done with great care to achieve optimum weathering resistance with EPALLOY® 5000 resin. Products with improved chalking resistance and gloss retention can be formulated. EPALLOY® 5000 resin exhibits a significantly lower viscosity than DGEBA. Higher filler loadings can, therefore, be achieved, resulting in cost reduction and reduced shrinkage. The adhesion and chemical resistance characteristics of EPALLOY® 5000 resin formulations are expected to be like those of standard DGEBA systems.
