ARA DEFEND® Resin Systems are engineered to improve damage tolerance and multi-hit performance, while delivering superior durability and performance at higher temperatures, resulting in extended armor life cycle and protection. ARA DEFEND® Resin Systems offer longer working times for better infusion of larger composite panels and they’re designed to cure at relatively low temperatures allowing for easier processing and flexibility in large-scale production, while delivering state-of-the-art product and manufacturing performance. Huntsman Advanced Materials ARA DEFEND® products are export restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. § 2751, et seq.) or the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (50 U.S.C. § 4801, et seq.), and are subject to export control licensing requirements and cannot be exported outside the U.S. without obtaining prior U.S. government authorization. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties.
