PHENOXY™ PKHS 27 is a 27% NV solution of acid-modified phenoxy resin in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). This tough, ductile resin offers excellent thermal stability, adhesive strength, and vapor barrier properties. It can be crosslinked through its hydroxyl groups with isocyanates, melamine, or phenolic resins, and its carboxylic acid groups can be crosslinked with poly(carbodiimides), poly(aziridines), or epoxy agents. Crosslinked PHENOXY™ PKHS-27 exhibits excellent chemical resistance, toughness, hardness, and adhesion to substrates like steel, aluminum, glass, carbon fiber, and thermoplastics such as nylon and polyester.

Phenoxy™ PK HH has a high viscosity compared to most phenoxy resins. Phenoxy resins (polyhydroxyethers) are tough, ductile, amorphous, thermoplastic polymers having excellent thermal stability, adhesive strength, and vapor barrier properties. Phenoxy resins may be crosslinked by reacting its hydroxyl functional groups with isocyanates, melamine resins, or phenolic resins. Crosslinked phenoxy resins exhibit excellent chemical resistance, hardness, and adhesion on many substrates including steel, aluminum, glass, and carbon fibers, and plastics such as nylon and polyester (PET). Phenoxy™ PK HH may also be formulated in single-pack epoxies containing latent hardeners, such as dicyandiamide, providing improved toughness and adhesive strength on substrates when properly cured. Phenoxy™ PK HH is soluble in many polar, aprotic solvents such as MEK, cyclohexanone, and glycol ethers.

PHENOXY™ PKHP 80 is a micronized powder-grade phenoxy resin with a particle size of approximately 70 microns. Phenoxy™ PK HP-200 is a micronized powder–grade PHENOXY resin. PHENOXY resins also react with cross-linkers like isocyanates, phenolic and melamine resins along the backbone hydroxyl groups. Phenoxy™ PK HW-34 dispersion is a waterborne, anionically-stabilized, colloidal dispersion of PHENOXY resin PKHB designed for thermoset coatings and adhesives. The dispersion is a non-Newtonian fluid at room temperature and exhibits very slight thixotropic behavior. PHENOXY resins (polyhydroxyethers) are tough, ductile, amorphous, thermoplastic polymers having excellent thermal stability, adhesive strength, and vapor barrier properties. PHENOXY resins may be crosslinked by reacting its hydroxyl functional groups with isocyanates, melamine resins, or phenolic resins. Crosslinked PHENOXY resins exhibit excellent chemical resistance, hardness, and adhesion on many substrates including steel, aluminum, glass, carbon fibers, and plastics such as nylon and polyester (PET). The recommended level of crosslinking range from 5 to 20 phr based on resin solids.
