- Product Applications
With bisphenol-A epoxy resins, semi-solid as Araldite® GY 280, or solid as Araldite® GT 7071 or GT 7072, for solvent-containing, ambient-curing high-performance coatings for metals or concrete. With polyfunctional epoxy resins as Araldite® EPN 1180 for coatings with particularly high chemical resistance.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Compatibility and Durability
- Main solvent is a 1:1 mix of xylene and butanol. Esters and ketones should not be added to hardeners. Solvent residues in coatings impair heat and chemical resistance, this is particularly noticeable in the case of water-soluble slow evaporating solvents such as methoxy propanol. Fast evaporating ketones (e.g. methyl isobutyl ketone) in the resin component facilitate spray application, slower evaporating ketones are preferred for brush annlication
