Product Properties

Aradur® 450-1 S can be regarded as the accelerated (Free from Bisphenol A) version of Aradur® 450 and will give the following properties:

  • Lower viscosity, better processability and cure at 10°C in mortars, despite high mechanical properties, a certain degree of flexibility that does not decrease with time
  • An excellent adhesion even onto marginally pretreated and moist concrete and steel smooth, glossy, tack - free surfaces good corrosion protection.
  • Although Aradur® 450-1 S provides slightly longer potlife than Aradur® 450 S while curing at 10°C is faster.

Applications & Uses

Markets
Applications
Application Information
  • With liquid epoxy resins such as Araldite® GY 250, GY 764, GY 783 or GY 793, for primers / adhesion promoters to problematic concrete substrates and also for solvent-free or low-solvent coatings (high-solids) for heavy-duty corrosion protection.
  • Due to its extreme tolerance to wet conditions, Aradur 450-1 S can be applied to all types of wet-damp and difficult to substrates.
