ARADUR® 848 exhibits medium viscosity and is readily miscible with liquid bisphenol-A or -F epoxy resins. Mixes with aliphatic or cycloaliphatic amines or their additives are storage- stable.
Formulations based on ARADUR® 848 offer the following features:
- A long pot life combined with a fairly rapid cure
- Good flow
- Non-tacky film surfaces even at low temperatures and high humidity
- Excellent adhesion and very good flexibility
- High-gloss films
- Sprayable with the addition of a small amount of solvent.

ARADUR® 848 can be used to formulate solvent-free anti-corrosion coatings for steel, concrete primers or trowelling compounds when used in combination with liquid epoxy resins such as Araldite® GY 250, GY 253, GY 255, GY 257, GY 260 or GY 266.

ARADUR® 848 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container, at temperatures between 2 and 40°C. The product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
