May be mixed with unmodified bisphenol-A or bisphenol-A/F epoxy resins to formulate low-viscosity epoxy resins for solvent-free coatings, flooring screeds and mastics.
Properties
Reactive diluents have generally low viscosity due to their low molecular weight; their vapor pressure is higher than most of standard epoxy resins. ARALDITE® DY 3602 combines a low vapor pressure with a good diluting effect. The use of ARALDITE® DY 3602 in surface technologies has the following effects, according to the amount included:
- Lower viscosity
- Slightly less reactivity
- An reduction in resistance to acids
- A reduction in resistance to solvents and ammonia
