Linear polarization resistance corrosion rates for 10 wt% aqueous amines

    E-GRADE® Diethylenetriamine (E-GRADE® DETA) - Linear polarization resistance corrosion rates for 10 wt% aqueous amines - 1

    • In general, primary amine metal removal rates are higher than secondary and tertiary amines.
    • Aluminum removal rates are highest requiring careful choice of amine.
    • Tungsten and Molybdenum are relatively inert to amines.
