GABEPRO™ GPM-830 CB

GABEPRO™ GPM-830 CB is a mercaptan curing agent that enhances bonds between glass and metal, particularly brass and bronze. Ideal for two-component mixing equipment, it is mixed at a 1:1 epoxy/hardener ratio and can serve as a catalyst or co-curing material to improve adhesion.

GABEPRO™ GPM-830CB mercaptan-based epoxy hardener provides a gel time of approximately 30 minutes with a standard bisphenol-A epoxy resin mixed at a 1:1 ratio under ambient conditions.

Storage & Handling

Storage Information
  • GABEPRO™ GPM-830CB curing agent should be stored in a dry place, in its sealed original container, at temperatures between 10°C - 30°C (50°F - 86°F).
  • Under these storage conditions the shelf life is 24 months from date of manufacture.
  • The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Mercaptans are known to yellow above 75°F.
  • At 90°F the yellowing is accelerated and at 100°F the yellowing is instant.
  • While yellowing is not always observed by the naked eye, a definite increase is detected by the colorimeter.
