- High Purity – JEFFCAT® LE-340 catalyst is high in purity, resulting in improved emissions contributed by the amine catalyst.
- Lower Use-Level Requirement – Due to the effectiveness of JEFFCAT® LE-340 catalyst, the usage level requirement is decreased when compared to other commercially available low emission amine gelling catalysts.
- No Contributions to VDA-278 – Utilizing JEFFCAT® LE-340 catalyst typically results in lower polyurethane foam emissions vs. conventional, non-reactive gelling amine catalysts.
- Reduced Foam Odor – Polyurethane foams produced with JEFFCAT® LE-340 catalyst have lower post-cure odor compared to conventional non-reactive gelling amine catalysts.

JEFFCAT® LE-340 catalyst should be introduced as the main gelling catalyst into a polyether flexible HR molded and/or slabstock polyurethane foam formulations for automotive applications.
