TEROL® 518 is recommended for use in polyisocyanurate (PIR) boardstock applications, particularly flexible faced lamination where the polyol has exceptional compatibility with hydrocarbon blowing agents. Foams made with TEROL® 518 polyol have excellent flowability and processing ability allowing for manufacturing efficiencies and lower stable core densities. When properly formulated and processed, foam panels produced with TEROL® 518 exhibit superior fire performance and can pass the Factory Mutual 4450 Calorimeter and ASTM E-84 tunnel tests.
