ARALDITE® DY H

ARALDITE® DY H MBC is a resin technically identical to ARALDITE® DY H but distinguished by its associated REDcert2 certificate, which ensures that 100% of the fossil raw materials required for its production were replaced by sustainably certified biomass. In this document, ARALDITE® DY H refers to both resin variants interchangeably.

Product Properties

Reactive diluents have low viscosity owing to their low molecular weight. Their vapour pressure is higher and their physiological effectiveness greater than that of unmodified epoxy resins. The use of ARALDITE® DY-H in surface technologies has the following effects, according to the amount included:

  • A moderate to clear reduction in viscosity
  • Improved processibility
  • Greater flexibility
  • A slight reduction in surface hardness
  • Clearly reduced resistance to acids and hot water
  • Less resistance to oraanic solvents and ammonia.
