EPIBOND® 1565 A/B

EPIBOND® 1565-A/B epoxy adhesive has excellent properties at high temperatures. It is thixotropic and exhibits negligible sag when applied to vertical surfaces. EPIBOND® 1565-A/B bonds well to metals, wood products, ceramics, glass, most plastics, rubber, and many other materials.

Mix Ratio Data

To 100 parts by weight of Epibond® 1565-A resin, add 40 parts by weight of Epibond® 1565-B hardener. Mix both components thoroughly for several minutes to assure complete blending.

Cured Properties

Cure Schedule

2 - 5°F/minute ramp to 200°F plus 3 hours at 200°F plus 2-5°F/minute ramp to 350°F plus one hour at 350°F.

    Storage & Handling

    Storage Conditions
    • EPIBOND® 1565-A/B should be stored in a dry place, in the sealed original container, at temperatures between +2°C and +40°C (+35.6°F and 104°F). The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
    • Under these storage conditions, and when supplied under Huntsman standard certification, this product has a shelf life of 1 year (expiration date may differ based on customer specification).
    • Material temperatures should be above 18°C (65°F) when mixing. After use, tightly reseal containers.
