Our high-performance EPIBOND® adhesives for aerospace and automotive applications provide superior joining and bonding solutions for plastics, metals, composite materials and other substrates. EPIBOND® adhesives offer productivity and manufacturing process improvements, as well as reductions in weight over other fastening methods. EPIBOND® 104 A-1/B is a two-part, cream-colored, non-flowing paste designed for bonding metals, plastics, concrete, and rubber. Its viscosity provides good gap-filling properties, making it suitable for vertical surfaces. Applications include honeycomb edge sealing, concrete patching, rigid foam sealant, vibration dampers, and press pads. Available in different work-life versions, it also includes the EPIBOND® 104A-1 resin/Hardener 946 epoxy adhesive.

EPIBOND® 115 A/B is an extrudable, two-component, heat-curing epoxy structural adhesive designed for service temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). This product is suitable for bonding a wide variety of materials, such as metals, composites, and other similar substrates. The combination of high strength and high Tg performance makes this adhesive well-suited for aerospace and other demanding applications. EPIBOND® 115 A/B contains 5 mil (125 micron) spacer beads to help provide a uniform bond line required in high-stress areas.

EPIBOND® 1210 A / HARDENER 9615-10 epoxy adhesive is a two-part system with a semi-paste consistency. The blue HARDENER 9615-10 is mixed with the tan EPIBOND® 1210 A until a completely uniform color is achieved. EPIBOND® 1210 A / HARDENER 9615-10 epoxy adhesive may be applied by brush, spatula, or automatic dispensing equipment. The adhesive is designed for bonding metal, wood, wood products, glass, ceramics, most plastics, and many other materials.

EPIBOND® 1210 A-1/9861 Epoxy Adhesive is a two-part paste that provides good properties at temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). This adhesive is ideal for spacecraft applications due to its low out-gassing properties. EPIBOND® 1210 A-1/9861 Epoxy Adhesive mixes to a semi-paste consistency and can be applied in glue lines of up to 50 mils for gap-filling applications. It bonds metals, composite laminates, most thermoplastics, rubbers, and many other dissimilar materials. The epoxy adhesive is also available in different working life versions—EPIBOND® 1210 A-1/B and EPIBOND® 1210 A-1/Hardener 9861.

EPIBOND® 1544-1 A-82/D Epoxy Adhesive is a two-component beige paste. This epoxy adhesive is non-flowing on vertical surfaces and forms excellent bonds between metals, composite laminates, most thermoplastics, and many other dissimilar materials. EPIBOND® 1544-1 A-82/DC Epoxy Adhesive can be used to fabricate or repair aircraft interior parts that fulfill FAR 25.853 and O.S.U. requirements when used in conjunction with other flame-retardant components. This adhesive is also available in different colors (EPIBOND® 1544-1 A/C Adhesive - Off-White and EPIBOND® 1544-1 A-71/D Adhesive - White).

EPIBOND® 156-1 A/B epoxy paste is an off-white, two-component surface filler developed primarily for application over porous polymeric, wood, or metal surfaces. EPIBOND® 156-1 A/B epoxy paste has good adhesion, low shrinkage, and can be easily applied with a spatula, splining tools, or polyethylene squeegees. This surface filler is ideal as a “wipe-on” paste for filling imperfections on the surface of laminated composite structures such as radomes, edge joints, surfaces, or polystyrene foam.

The combination of high shear strength and compression makes this adhesive well-suited for aerospace applications and composites requiring a liquid shim. EPIBOND® 315 A/B offers rapid strength build-up with an easy-to-process mix ratio.

It is suitable for a wide variety of metal, honeycomb, and fiber-reinforced composite bonding applications requiring high shear strength and good peel strength. EPIBOND® 420 A/B contains 5 mil (125 µm) spacer beads to provide the very uniform bond line required in high-stress areas. EPIBOND® 420 A/B structural epoxy adhesive replaces REDUX 410 NA epoxy adhesive and meets the requirements of BMS 5-107.
