EPIBOND® 156-1 A/B

EPIBOND® 156-1 A/B epoxy paste is an off-white, two-component surface filler developed primarily for application over porous polymeric, wood, or metal surfaces. EPIBOND® 156-1 A/B epoxy paste has good adhesion, low shrinkage, and can be easily applied with a spatula, splining tools, or polyethylene squeegees. This surface filler is ideal as a “wipe-on” paste for filling imperfections on the surface of laminated composite structures such as radomes, edge joints, surfaces, or polystyrene foam.

Cure Schedule

Three days at 25°C or gel at room temperature plus two hours at 25°C, plus one to three hours at 66°C.

Storage Conditions
  • When stored in a dry place in their original sealed containers at temperatures between +2°C and +40°C Epibond® 156-1 A Resin and Epibond® 156 B Hardener have a shelf life of one year (Huntsman standard certification).
  • Expiration date may differ based on customer specification). Do not expose to direct sunlight.
  • Material temperature should be above 18°C (65°F) prior to mixing. Tightly reseal containers after use.
