I-BOND® resins from Huntsman are powerful, formaldehyde-free and fast-curing resins for the composite wood panel industry. They are used for bonding: Oriented Strand Board (OSB), Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), Particleboard (PB), and Wood Fiber Insulation Board (WFI). I-BOND® resins contain no added formaldehyde (NAF) and are considered "exempt" under the requirements of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) standards. Using I-BOND® resins classifies products as both CARB I and CARB II compliant. I-BOND® resins are also compliant with the European EPF-S standard, as well as the Japanese F**** (F 4 star) formaldehyde emission standard.

RUBITRIM® formulated polyurethane systems are developed to deliver a soft touch and luxurious feel in transportation-related TRIM applications. RUBITRIM® systems can provide customers with benefits including: fast cure; good properties that meet a range of OEM specification requirements; low emissions; compatibility with PVC skins; excellent part-to-part reproducibility. RUBITRIM® systems may be used in trim applications including: semi-rigid backfoam for instrument and door panels; water-blown integral skin for steering wheels and armrests; rigid foams for crash pads and other protective applications; various elastomeric foams for flexible air filters, gaskets and seals; and rigid elastomers for molded body panels. RUBITRIM® systems offer robust processing windows for manufacturing methods such as open- and closed-pour (injection), high-pressure and cold-cure molding. Substrates that may be used with RUBITRIM® polyurethane systems include PVC, EPP, PUR and barrier-backed leather.

The ACOUSTIFLEX® family of formulated polyurethane systems is developed to deliver lightweight acoustic insulation and absorption in transportation-related acoustic applications. ACOUSTIFLEX® systems can provide benefits including a range of functionalities with regard to transmission loss, acoustic absorption or dynamic noise vibration damping, good thermal insulation performance, and compliance with the low emission standards for most OEMs. These systems may be used in a range of acoustic applications including flexible high-resiliency and viscoelastic foam carpet underlay, dash insulators and stuffer pads, as well as semi-rigid foam, wheelhouse, transmission tunnel and pillar cavity fill insulators and elastomeric, heavy layer noise barriers. ACOUSTIFLEX® systems offer robust processing windows for various manufacturing methods such as open- and closed-pour (injection), high-pressure, cold-cure molding, and free-rise batch block.

We offer high-purity, low-trace metal E-GRADE® amines, including quaternary amines, amine oxides, and solvents for formulation into semiconductor chip manufacturing including formulated cleaning, etching, and stripping. The RIMLINE® family of formulated polyurethane resins is developed to deliver fast cycle times and lightweight solutions for transportation-related composite applications. RIMLINE® polyurethane systems can provide the following benefits: lightweight material; fast cure resulting in short cycle times; high toughness; high stiffness (i.e. high modulus). RIMLINE® polyurethane systems may be used in a wide range of composite applications including various interior components (e.g. load floors, sunshades), suspension components (e.g. leaf springs) as well as EV battery-related applications. RIMLINE® polyurethane systems offer a robust processing window for a number of manufacturing methods including: pultrusion; long fiber injection (LFI); spray honeycomb; low-and full-density structural reaction injection molding (SRIM); and filament winding.

The RUBIFLEX® family of formulated polyurethane systems is developed to deliver superior comfort and support in transportation-related seating applications. RUBIFLEX® polyurethane systems can provide one or more of the following benefits: high elasticity for excellent vibration transmissibility performance; superior comfort properties; very good durability properties; fit-for-use in thin seat profiles; low emissions; bio-content. The VITROX® family of high-performance polyurethane resin systems can be used in demanding structural and semi-structural composite applications in Transportation including interior load floor components, suspension components, body structure components, powertrain/wheel components, and battery enclosures. VITROX® system benefits include adjustment of the pot-life to match individual processing conditions, coupled with the ability to offer faster curing cycles along with excellent mechanical properties. VITROX® polyurethane systems offer a robust processing window for a number of manufacturing methods such as resin transfer molding, spray honeycomb and filament winding. VITROX® resin provides a longer handling window, faster curing time and superior high-temperature resistance properties compared to existing technologies.

Huntsman accelerators are commonly used in combination with ARALDITE® epoxy resins, ARADUR® hardeners and JEFFAMINE® polyetheramines to accelerate the reaction rate of epoxy thermoset systems. Properly used accelerators can be an integral part of fine-tuning the reactivity of slower reacting resin formulations and can also serve to beneficially influence properties such as glass transition temperature (Tg), modulus, strength, elongation at break, and chemical resistance.

ARADUR® curing agents are supplied in liquid or solid form and can be used in conjunction with ARALDITE® epoxy resins to achieve a broad range of thermal, mechanical and electrical properties. This complete line of high-performance curing agents includes reactive polyamides, polyamido amines, aliphatic amines, cycloaliphatic amines, aromatic amines, anhydrides and novolacs.

The ARALDITE® brand encompasses high-performance epoxy, acrylic, and polyurethane adhesives and high-performance specialty epoxy and benzoxazine resin systems. ARALDITE® adhesives cover a broad range of applications and offer both production and performance benefits to industrial, consumer and construction markets. ARALDITE® specialty thermoset resins are supplied in liquids or solids, and in a range of viscosities, functionalities and epoxy equivalent weights for a wide range of industrial applications, while ARALDITE® specialty epoxy resins are typically based on bisphenol-A, bisphenol-F, phenol novolacs, cresol novolacs, amino phenol, methylene dianiline, cycloaliphatics, and isocyanuric acid.

EPALLOY® specialty epoxy resins deliver improved performance in high-performance maintenance and marine coatings, adhesives, encapsulants and composites. These specialty epoxy resins provide better chemical resistance, thermal performance, modulus, cure speed and UV resistance than standard liquid epoxy resins.

Our high-performance EPIBOND® adhesives for aerospace and automotive applications provide superior joining and bonding solutions for plastics, metals, composite materials and other substrates. EPIBOND® adhesives offer productivity and manufacturing process improvements, as well as reductions in weight over other fastening methods. Additionally, manufacturers can select adhesives that are flame retardant, resistant to fatigue, chemicals and temperatures, and with mechanical properties that vary from rigid to flexible and offer long-term durability. Our products are specified in numerous OEM applications ranging from interior parts such as seats, lavatories, overhead bins, galleys and monuments to exterior parts such as nacelles, landing gear doors and control surfaces.
