ARALDITE® CY 5524 / ARADUR® HY 5524 / FLEXIBILIZER DY 040 / Filler Silica Powder is an ARALDITE® casting resin system for producing insulating components with good electrical and mechanical properties. It is used in the manufacturing of electrical insulating components for medium and high voltage indoor equipment, such as post-type insulators, breaker and switchgear parts, bushings, and mechanically stressed parts.

ARALDITE® CY 5825 / ARADUR® HY 5825 is a heat-curing, two-component material designed for high-temperature applications. ARALDITE® CY 5825 is a multifunctional (high functionality) epoxy-based material, and ARADUR® HY 5825 is a pre-accelerated anhydride. This system was specially developed for high-temperature electrical insulation applications. Due to higher functionality, its gamma radiation resistance is superior to that of standard Bisphenol-A-based epoxy systems. This system can be used for many applications, such as high-temperature slot insulation for alternators, impregnation of transformer coils, and electrical high-temperature filament-wound products.

ARALDITE® CY 5897 / ARADUR® HY 5897 HARDENER is a two-part, liquid, thermosetting casting resin system based on epoxy and anhydride components, designed for medium and high voltage insulating components in APG applications. With a Tg above 105°C, it offers excellent thermal shock and crack resistance, superior electrical properties, and a high-quality appearance.

ARALDITE® CY 5910 US is a toughened cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. ARADUR® HY 1102 is a fully saturated liquid anhydride curing agent, and ACCELERATOR DY 062 is a liquid tertiary amine necessary to initiate the epoxy-anhydride reaction. ARALDITE® DW 9134 BD is a cycloaliphatic epoxy-based gray color paste formulated to give an ANSI 70 gray color to cured components. With the addition of silica filler, preferably silanized, casting systems can be prepared that are recommended for use in harsh environmental applications in the medium voltage and heavy power electrical industry. These systems offer excellent thermal shock resistance combined with a high glass transition temperature.
