RUBINATE®

RUBINATE® 1209 is a member of the Low Functionality Prepolymer isocyanate family. These materials are produced from the reaction of a standard MDI material with selected polyether polyols to provide certain characteristics for use in the production of two-component polyurethane products. RUBINATE 1209 MDI is an all 4,4’ MDI based prepolymer designed for spray and cast elastomers.

RUBINATE® 1234 is a member of the Low Functionality Prepolymer isocyanate family. These materials are produced from the reaction of a standard MDI material with selected polyester polyols to provide certain characteristics for use in the production of two-component polyurethane products. RUBINATE 1234 MDI is a polyester-based prepolymer with a controlled low acidity. This will allow the formulator to adjust the resin blend to reach a specific reaction profile.

RUBINATE® 1245 MDI Isocyanate is a member of the Modified Polymeric MDI isocyanate family. These products are modified with a specific amount diisocyanate to provide enhanced performance and properties when compared to standard Polymeric MDI. RUBINATE® 1245 MDI has been developed to contain a high amount of diisocyanate and further tailored to contain a moderate percentage of the 2,4MDI isomer when compared to other available products. Depending upon the specific end-use, formulators are advised to verify the performance of RUBINATE® 1245 MDI Isocyanate in their application.

RUBINATE® 1680 is a member of the Liquid Pure MDI isocyanate family. These products have been modified to remain liquid at ambient temperatures. RUBINATE 1680 MDI is an uretonomine-modified 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate with a clear to pale yellow appearance. This product has been modified to be a liquid product at ambient temperatures, with functionality slightly greater than 2.1.

RUBINATE® 1790 is a member of the Low Functionality Prepolymer isocyanate family. These materials are produced from the reaction of a standard MDI material with selected polyether polyols to provide certain characteristics for use in the production of two-component polyurethane products. RUBINATE 1790 MDI is an all-purpose 4,4’ MDI based prepolymer.

RUBINATE® 1820 is a member of the Modified Polymeric MDI isocyanate family. These products are modified with a specific amount diisocyanate to provide enhanced performance and properties when compared to standard Polymeric MDI. RUBINATE 1820 MDI has been developed to contain a moderate amount of diisocyanate and further tailored to contain a low percentage of the 2,4’ MDI isomer when compared to other available products. Depending upon the specific end-use, formulators are advised to verify the performance of RUBINATE 1820 MDI Isocyanate in their application.

RUBINATE® 1840 is compatible with polyurethanes (PU) and plastics, making it suitable for a wide range of markets, including apparel, architectural coatings, automotive and transportation, bedding, building and construction, cold-chain and insulation, furniture, industrial automation, industrial coatings, printed circuit boards (PCBs), sports and recreation, and technical fabrics.

RUBINATE® 1850 MDI Isocyanate is a high functionality polymeric MDI isocyanate, modified to provide a functionality greater than 2.7, exceeding the standard value for polymeric MDI. It is designed to offer improved performance, and formulators are advised to verify its suitability for specific end-use applications.

RUBINATE® 1920 is a member of the Medium Functionality Prepolymer isocyanate family. These materials are produced from the reaction of a standard MDI material with selected polyether polyols to provide certain characteristics for use in the production of two-component polyurethane products. RUBINATE 1920 MDI is a prepolymer with slightly higher isocyanate content, designed for use in cast elastomers.

RUBINATE® 44 isocyanate is a highly pure di-functional isocyanate having a white to pale yellow color and is a solid at ambient temperatures.

RUBINATE® 9009 MDI Isocyanate is a member of the polyurea prepolymer isocyanate family. These materials are designed to be used in combination with resin blends containing JEFFAMINE® Polyetheramines and/or JEFFOL® Polyether Polyols for the production of high-performance polyurea coatings and elastomers.

RUBINATE® 9234 utilizes a moisture cure method and is suitable for a variety of applications, including adhesives and sealants, architectural coatings, automotive and transportation, bedding, building and construction, cold-chain and insulation, electrical and electronics, furniture, industrial automation, paints and coatings, power, water and utilities, and sports and recreation. It incorporates technologies such as functional additives, intermediates, plastics, prepolymers, and polyols.

RUBINATE® 9271 is a member of the Low Functionality Prepolymer isocyanate family. These materials are produced from the reaction of a standard MDI material with selected polyether polyols to provide certain characteristics for use in the production of two-component polyurethane products. RUBINATE 9271 MDI is a MDI based prepolymer with an increased amount of the 2,4’ MDI isomer.

RUBINATE® 9495 is designed for use in spray coatings and polyurea spray elastomers. It functions as a binder and resin, as well as a hardener, providing effective performance in various coating applications.
