ELASTAMINE® HT-1100
Applications:
Industrial
Product Families:
Plastics
Chemical Family:
Polyethers
ELASTAMINE® HT-1100 Amine is a polyether diamine based on poly(tetramethylene ether glycol), or PTMEG. Specifically the product is bis (3-aminopropyl) PTMEG of approximately 1100 molecular weight. The PTMEG backbone provides significant mechanical property benefits as a soft segment in elastomers or as a monomer in thermosets. Amines containing PTMEG may thus be useful in polyamides, polyureas, cured epoxy resins, and other polymers.

EPALLOY® 5000
Chemical Family:
Epoxy & Epoxy Derivatives
Chemical Name:
Hydrogenated bisphenol-A epoxy resin
Functions:
Binder & Resin, Resin, Resins, Binders & Matrix Materials
End Uses:
Civil Engineering Applications, Concrete Coating, Rail Cars, Tanks, Top Coat, UV Coating
Processing Methods:
3D Printing, Stereolithography
Applicable Processes:
3D Printing
Labeling Claims:
Isocyanates-free, Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) Chemicals-free, Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)-free
EPALLOY® 5000 resin is the diepoxide of the hydrogenated bisphenol A. Due to its saturated ring structure, this resin will find utility in applications requiring resistance to ultraviolet light exposure. Formulations based on standard DGEBA resins usually do not perform well in this environment. Curing agent selection should be done with great care to achieve optimum weathering resistance with EPALLOY® 5000 resin. Products with improved chalking resistance and gloss retention can be formulated. EPALLOY® 5000 resin exhibits a significantly lower viscosity than DGEBA. Higher filler loadings can, therefore, be achieved, resulting in cost reduction and reduced shrinkage. The adhesion and chemical resistance characteristics of EPALLOY® 5000 resin formulations are expected to be like those of standard DGEBA systems.

EPALLOY® 5001 N
Chemical Family:
Epoxy & Epoxy Derivatives
End Uses:
Concrete Coating, Floor Coatings, Tank Coating, UV Coating
Features:
Chalking Resistance, Chemical Resistance, Cost Effective, Fast Cure, Good Gloss Retention, High Filler Loading, Improves Adhesion, Low Viscosity, Low Yellowing, Reduced Shrinkage, UV Resistance, Weather Resistance
EPALLOY® 5001 N Resin is a hydrogenated bisphenol-A epoxy resin with improved chalking resistance and gloss retention to achieve optimal weathering resistance. Formulations based on EPALLOY® 5001 N Resin show improved cure speeds of up to 50% compared to the standard epoxidized hydrogenated bisphenol-A, EPALLOY® 5000 Resin. EPALLOY® 5001 N Resin shows improved adhesion and hardness development while maintaining low yellowing and excellent UV resistance. It contains no unsaturation or aromatic structures, providing excellent resistance to outdoor weathering. Cycloaliphatic amines are the recommended curing agents to achieve optimum weathering resistance, while aromatic compounds or acids should be avoided as they may reduce UV resistance.
