ARATHANE®

ARATHANE® 3304 IS is a liquid additive used in adhesives and sealants, aerospace and aviation, automotive and transportation, batteries, electrical and electronics, industrial, and military and defense applications. It is immiscible in water, ensuring reliable performance in a wide range of industrial processes.

ARATHANE® 5750 A/B (LV) Coating is a translucent, soft, repairable, two-component urethane system designed specifically for insulating printed circuit boards and electronic components. ARATHANE® 5750-A/B (LV) Coating exhibits excellent reversion resistance under heat and high humidity conditions. As a cured coating, this material displays very low outgassing properties, which are critical for applications in outer space and high vacuum environments. It can be used as a protective coating for printed wiring boards, and it has dip, spray, and spread applications.

ARATHANE® 7760 Adhesive is a single-component, solvent-free material specifically formulated as a thermal transfer adhesive (TTA). It features excellent thermal shock resistance and is highly thixotropic with non-slump characteristics. This combination of physical properties improves process control capabilities. ARATHANE® 7760 Adhesive is easy to handle and is well-suited for automatic dispensing in high-output applications. It can be used for bonding, filleting, and protecting components on printed wiring boards or in other applications where high thermal expansion mismatches are problematic.

It is designed to have high purity and very low outgassing characteristics. It features extremely good thermal shock resistance combined with excellent hydrolytic stability and resistance to solder processing temperatures and most common printed wiring board cleaning chemicals. ARATHANE® 7762-1 Adhesive can be automatically dispensed for high-output applications and reduced handling. This adhesive is a variant of the ARATHANE® 7760-1 product, designed to provide a controlled bond line thickness (5 mil). It is ideally suited for bonding “flat packs,” PLCCs, and other devices where control of bond line thickness is critical or desired. It can be used for bonding, fileting, and protection of components on printed wiring boards or in other applications where high thermal expansion mismatches are problematic.

ARATHANE® 5753 A/B (LV) Casting Compound is a translucent, amber, two-component polyurethane casting compound that, when cured, provides excellent electrical insulation to electrical/electronic parts. Arathane® 5753-A/B (LV) Casting Compound exhibits excellent reversion resistance under heat and high humidity conditions. As a cured system, this material meets NASA outgassing properties, which are critical for applications in outer space and high vacuum environments. Arathane® 5753-A/B (LV) Casting Compound is typically recommended for encapsulating coils, trimpots, potentiometers, and modules with complicated circuitry and/or stress-sensitive components.

ARATHANE® 5888 IS / ARATHANE® 5888 PO is a solvent-free, two-component flexible polyurethane casting system, ideal for high-voltage electrical devices and electronic component encapsulation. It provides good mechanical and electrical properties after moderate curing and is UL 94 V0 compliant at 6 mm thickness.

ARATHANE® CW 5620 / ARATHANE® HY 5610 is a polyurethane, halogen-free, casting and impregnating system for processing and curing at room temperature. Soft multipurpose polyurethane system for pressure-sensitive devices. Available in various colors. It is used in Transformers, filters, capacitors, etc.

ARATHANE® 5814 IS / ARATHANE® 5814 PO is a flame and UV-resistant two-component polyurethane system designed for the casting and potting of electrical components. Typical applications for this system include potting transformers and pressure-sensitive devices. This system can be used in applications for either outdoor or indoor service and for bushing-type current transformers.

ARATHANE® CW 5620 / ARATHANE® HY 5611-1 is a Polyurethane, halogen-free, casting and impregnating system for processing and curing at room temperature. ARATHANE® CY 11035-1 / ARATHANE® HY 11036 is a liquid, 2-component polyurethane resin injection molding system, which can be applied as a foam by injection of an inert gas during molding. The system provides long pot life and is suited for large castings. It has a very low glass transition temperature and very good dielectric properties between – 60 °C and 120 °C. It is used in Gap filling in HV bushings, Filling of hollow core insulators, and Pressure-sensitive devices.
